Dear community,

in the past few days, some actions from our side have provoked negative feelings in you. I want to ensure you that our job, and when I say job I mean that each one of us (Moderators) is working to help the community on a daily basis. We are doing our best to give you answers as fast as we can, but sometimes it takes longer, especially in cases like the Sunwell situation where a lot of people come with a lot of questions. Each one of us is respecting each one of you, and we require this from your side too. We are spending time searching on the internet to find your answers (something you can do by your own) and a lot of other stuff. From few days (due to the high population and expecting of more) we started to punish people who abuse the reputation option. There were a lot of negative feedback from your side and we needed to take care of it, so we made few changes;
  • Moderators will not longer have "reputation". This is something necessary that we've wanted to do a long time ago.
  • Reputation in Localized forums and Archive has been completely removed.

We have also changed the reputation system and from now on will be like this:

  • Members cannot see who gave them reputation points (positive and negative votes). There has also been set a limit to the number of negative and positive points that can be given each day.
  • New Members cannot give reputation votes - you will have to become Member to do that.
The reason we did this is because some players were giving negative reputation for posts which shouldn't have gotten them. This is called abusing and people have for some reason played around with it. I must remind you that the same rules apply for everyone, and if you did this yourself previously and still don't have your warning points it doesn't mean that you won't get them in future.
Also, if you think that someone is abusing with this system, you can report him as well.

Best Regards,
Martin.
